Through the price revisions from 2018 to 2023 the market for medical products (medicines) contracted by an accumulated total of over 3.5 trillion yen. Because of this contraction, and even with investment in new medicines, the growth of the domestic market will be somewhere between minus 0.7% and 1.7%.
