3Greeting梅田 一郎 理事長1952年10月21日生まれ。大分県出身。岡山大学法文学部法学科卒業。慶應義塾大学MBA取得。1980年、MRとして台糖ファイザー株式会社（現ファイザー株式会社）に入社。取締役として経営企画、人事・総務、営業を担当し、2009年12月より代表取締役社長。2018年に退職。同年、一般社団法人新時代戦略研究所設立とともに、理事長に就任。Ichiro Umeda ChairmanBorn in Oita on October 21, 1952. Mr. Umeda graduated from Okayama University, Faculty of Law and Literature, Department of Law. He received MBA at Keio Business School. He joined Taito Pfizer (now Pfizer Japan Inc.) as a Medical Representative. He served as the Director in charge of Management Planning, Personnel, General A airs, and Drug Business Promotion. Mr. Umeda took the seat of President of P zer Japan Inc. in December, 2009. Apart from unpredictable natural disasters and COVID-19, the current situation in Japan may be simply seen as the expected scenarios becoming a reality.It is the responsibility for us living now to rebuild strong Japan by achieving scal soundness while promoting innovation and to pass the strong Japan to the next generation. INES will continue our actions to make proposals for fundamental solutions of the problems and to re ect them into political and governmental measures.
